About this Event
Saluki Con is a general comics/sci-fi/fantasy/pop culture convention featuring celebrities, artists, craftspeople, table-top gaming, e-sports, cosplay, vr, anime, vendors, and lots of other activities. The mission is to create an affordable, family-friendly event that showcases SIU and Southern Illinois.
Children 5 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult with paid admission.

Gaming activities on Friday night.
Special speaking event with Sean Astin on Saturday evening at 7:00. This speaking event will take place at SIU's Shryock Auditorium. Saluki Con ticket and Sean Astin add-on ticket required for admission. Sean Astin will not be appearing on the con floor. This will be a one time, Saturday night speaking engagement.
