About Salud Salud is a Latine family-founded nonprofit created by and for the community. We are an organization led by health professionals, psychologists, social workers, case managers, and providers with backgrounds similar to those of the communities we serve. Salud was started to help normalize conversations about mental health. We believe that if we want to discuss topics like mental health, there should be spaces that offer a safe, trusted, appropriate & professionally led approach to help do so in our communities. Salud applies research & evidence-based approaches to intentionally facilitate these conversations and create space for the communities we serve. Salud acknowledges that these formalized conversations can take place in different settings, from large universities to intimate spaces within our communities. Cheers, ’Salud’ to normalizing our mental health and healing the culture together.
