Salty Dog + Pup Triathlon

The Salty Dog Triathlon begins at 7 a.m. at Salt City Splash Aquatic Center in Carey Park, challenging participants to complete a 400-meter pool swim, a 10.5-mile bike ride on a vehicle-free course, and a 3.1-mile run along paved park trails—all within the scenic setting of Carey Park. The event is chip-timed to ensure accurate tracking of each leg, transition, and overall results.
Following the main event, the Salty Pup Triathlon offers a youth-focused version for participants ages 15 and under. Designed as a shorter but similar course within Carey Park, young athletes will complete a 100-meter swim, a 4.2-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Like the Salty Dog, the Salty Pup Triathlon is also chip-timed to provide precise results for each participant.
