Join the Sealion Women Dance Group for an early morning barefoot walk. Move together at the shifting edge of the incoming tide. Witness movement inspired by pakake (sea lions) and ocean ecologies whilst listening to an original soundscore.Bring your own Bluetooth enabled headphones and device to download the sound file.
Assemble outside Te Whānau Arohanui at 6.45am for a 7am start.

Installation & Roundtable Discussion - 10am
Sealion Women Dance Group invite you to join us for a cup of tea, exhibition/installation and roundtable discussion on the arts of co-existence, adaptation and restoration of ecologies with Louise Pōtiki-Bryant (dancer/choreographer), Hanna Ravn (marine scientist), Jim Fyfe (environmentalist), and Jenny Munro (women’s health advocate) facilitated by Fiona Graham (dramaturg).
Photography by Bronwyn Kidd for the Wild Dunedin Festival of Nature performance of Saltlines for Sealion Women in 2025 will be exhibited in the Te Whare Arohanui during the morning.
Saltwater Feet is supported by Dunedin City Professional Theatre Fund. This research performance is part of Sealion Women Creative Lab towards Dunedin Arts Festival 2027.
