Saltmarsh Monitoring Workshop - Ballina
Join OzFish for a hands-on training and education workshop exploring these vitally important coastal ecosystems, how we monitor their health, and why restoration efforts are so important for the future of our fisheries.
During the session, you’ll learn how we monitor the health of local saltmarsh habitats, including simple, practical techniques used to collect important data in the field. You’ll discover the diverse plants and wildlife that call these ecosystems home, and gain a deeper understanding of how they function.
This is also a great chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and learn more about the work happening locally.
Whether you’re completely new or already have an interest in the environment, you’ll leave with a better understanding of the important of saltmarshes.
