Fourth Saturday of the month is Salsa Geeks Saturday! Come, join our fabulous community event where we learn, practice, get lost in the music, chat, hang out and have a jolly good time.
And this time we are visited by non other than the armography aficionado, spinmaster, and tangles guru: Carl Poxon!
It is a great opportunity to squeeze a bit extra so you have not one but two classes ha! And with all that squeezing, you have an extra hour of dancing with finish at 1am, cuz I like to spoil you.

20:00 - 20:30 Spin me right round
20:40 - 21:30 Partnerwork, salsa on1, CBL- daring improver level
21:30 - 1:00 Social dancing

Seasoned dancers - come around, have fun and inspire newbies.
Newbies - come around and have a go practicing what you've learnt in a safe environment. Get your mambo-miles in 😃
Music policy: 85-90% salsa, any era, any style, starting slow to help our beginners find their feet, and letting you practice your new moves, gradually getting more complex and faster. Splash of kizomba, bachata, cha cha cha.
Of course entry is free for fellow dance teachers in recognition of their work and commitment to growing our dancing community.
Our wristband policy:
There’s the normal stripey wristband that 95% wear and you can totally ask them to dance.
We have the blue “I brought watermelons” wristband, which is for those who have not done any classes, have no clue what they are doing and want some guidance from dancers.
We also have the red, “please don’t ask” wristband. This was introduced after lockdown when not everyone was comfortable being close to strangers. It is now for anyone who is recovering from injury, illness, chemo… anything that will make them vulnerable to falls or injuries and they can only dance with their safe partners who know what not to do and where not to touch, to not aggravate their condition. Please don’t ask anyone with red wristband and don’t enquire what their health problem is.
This is a venue ran by volunteers, with a very cheap bar and a very good supply of non-alcoholic drinks for drivers alongside your usual booze. Please support the bar and don't bring your own drinks.
Venue is easily accessible by public transport and parking on street in the evening is free.
See you there! 🙂
