In partnership with the SOWEGA Council on Aging, this lively and welcoming, senior-accessible salsa class invites participants to engage with dance as both a creative practice and a shared cultural experience. Designed for all experience levels, the class introduces foundational salsa steps at a comfortable pace while encouraging personal expression, musicality, and connection through movement.
Participants will explore rhythm, style, and the expressive qualities of salsa while building confidence in their own movement. Alongside its artistic focus, the class also supports balance, coordination, and overall well-being in a fun and supportive environment that fosters both creativity and community.
- Classes are every Wednesday at 12 noon, and 6 p.m.
- Classes are $10 per class, and free to our 60+ dancers!
- Please come 15 minutes early to register
- Please wear hard sole shoes or socks.
- No partner required!
