This workshop is meticulously designed to introduce participants to the fundamental elements of Salsa, including basic footwork, partner connection, and simple yet vibrant dance patterns. Additionally, this Crash Course will provide you with the confidence needed to walk into the classroom feeling ready to take on partner dancing! We will touch on all of the following fundamentals:
- Basic Steps w/ a Partner
- Open vs. Closed position
- Frame and variations
- Connection and how to enhance it
Working with these fundamentals, we will touch on the most common partnerwork steps:
- Lead and Follow Right Turns
- Lead and Follow Left Turns
- Cross Body Lead
If time allows, we will continue to progress you!
If you are already taking classes, no problem! This class will help propel you into higher level learning at a much faster rate!
