Join Gibson "El Negrito Caleño", international Salsa Caleña instructor and performer, for a unique 3-hour workshop designed to introduce you to the speed, musicality, energy, and culture that make Cali the world capital of salsa.
Whether you're new to Salsa Caleña or looking to sharpen your technique, this workshop is designed to challenge, inspire, and help you grow as a dancer.
Workshop Schedule
🕒 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Introduction to Salsa Caleña (Open Level)
Learn the foundations, rhythm, posture, and signature footwork of Cali-style salsa.
🕓 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Partnerwork (Beginner to Intermediate level)
Develop your lead and follow skills, combinations, connection, and movement with a partner.
🕔 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Bootcamp Masterclass – Steps, Musicality & Essence Caleña (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
An intensive session focused on authentic Cali footwork, musical interpretation, speed, styling, and the true essence of Salsa Caleña.
