Salon Nocturne will occur every 3rd Sunday from 5pm to 10pm Beneath The Thin Man & St. Mark's in the Ubisububi room.
March is Women's History Month... And to that end we're talking about the Women who've made their mark in Goth Music!
After 8pm we'll discuss the visionary Parable of the Sower by Octavia E Butler...
Every month will feature...
a new topic with guest speakers
an open stage for poetry, comedy and other readings
a new book to discuss
a suggested style of dress - Goth or otherwise
prizes and trinkets for fun and amusement
a space for conversations, small card or board games/chess and embroidery and small art/crafts
Typical Evening Schedule...
From 5pm to 6ish we'll be casually dropping in and having great conversations, enjoying snacks & beverages from upstairs... the stage will be open for readings, song singing or even jokes...
We'll start our topical conversation or hands on experience at around 6pm and the talk on our book will start just after 8pm. Plenty of time for conversations, drifting up for food or drinks throughout the evening.
This is a casual event, no worries over feeling late.
These events are 18+ [those under 21 will be asked to use the St. Mark's entrance]. $5 cover [$1 of which will be going to a local charity]. See less
