Join us on World Mental Health Day to find out more about who we are and the vital work we do to support mental health and improve wellbeing across Salford.

We are delighted to invite you to our first Salford Business Networking event on 10th October. The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is Workplace Well-being, so there really is no better time to come along.

About Your Local Mind

We are one of over 100 local Minds across England, Wales and the Channel Islands that make up the Mind federation. This means we are an independent charity that is affiliated with national Mind. We’re local, and based in Salford, meaning we understand our community and provide the services that people need.

We have been supporting the mental health of our local community for over 50 years thanks to our supporters. As an independent charity we are responsible for our own funding and all money raised on our behalf is put back into services we operate in Salford, directly benefitting local people.

Workplace Well-being

Come and hear about the fantastic opportunities that are open to Salford based businesses who wish to support Mind in Salford.

What To Expect:

-10am – Introductions. Open networking with breakfast and drinks provided.
-10.25am - Welcome from our CEO and short presentation- ‘Mental Health in the workplace.’ You will also hear from our current corporate supporters and why they choose to partner with us.
-10.50am - Open networking and access to our VR headsets and interactive stalls.
-11.15am – Closing with thanks. Short Mindfulness exercise led by our CEO, a trained Mindfulness practitioner.
-11.25am – Time for questions.
-11.30am – End of event.

This event is free to attend and we would love to welcome as many different local organisations here as possible.
