About this Event
We'll stroll through a 5.4 acre arboretum four stories high atop the Salesforce Transit Center.
The garden features botanical specimens from around the world that grow in Mediterrean climates similar to California. Over six hundred trees and sixteen thousand plants await our discovery on this arborial outing.

Where to Meet
We will meet in the ground level of the transit center, at the escalator that leads up to the park. There are restrooms and food available at the park.

About the Outing Leaders
As Greenbelt Alliance's Outings Coordinator, Ken has been leading our free educational outings for Bay Area residents for over a decade.
Ken worked as a national park ranger in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and as an instructor for Diablo Nature Adventures, teaching environmental science to school groups in Mount Diablo State Park. He served both as president and longtime board member of the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association (MDIA).
