Sakeenah Canada's Ottawa Gala: A Place to Begin Again

Sakeenah Canada invites you to join us on November 13, 2026, for an evening celebrating the impact we've made in Ottawa and across Canada.
About this Event

A Place to Start Again

At this year’s Sakeenah Gala, our speaker will explore the enduring power of hope, compassion and new beginnings.

Drawing on timeless teachings from the Qur’an and the life of the Prophet Muhammad, the talk will reflect on how we can offer hope and encouragement to people facing some of life’s most difficult moments.

For the women and children Sakeenah supports, having a safe place can be the first step toward rebuilding their lives, restoring their confidence and imagining a different future.

This evening is about all of us: the donors, volunteers, staff, supporters and community members who can help make that new beginning possible.
