Lez Go presents Nightmare on Queen Street 2026

Join Lez Go, Ottawa’s lesbian+ events group, for our HUGE Halloween party at Queen St. Fare!

Get ready for a night of dancing, costumes, prizes, spooky fun and queer joy. Featuring DJ Karyen, great prizes for the best costumes, free raffle draws and more!

Costumes are optional! Come dressed to impress, get spooky, get creative or just come as you are!

📅 Saturday, October 31 | 8 pm to 1 am - Queen St. Fare | Downtown Ottawa

Women ages 19+ who identify as lesbian, trans, Two-Spirit, bi, poly, pan or queer, including non-binary lesbians, are welcome.

$22 - Early Bird until September 16

$30 - September 17 to October 25

$40 - October 26 onward, including at the door if tickets remain

Thanks to the generosity of Lez Go members, a limited number of tickets have been pre-purchased for anyone who would love to attend but for whom the cost is currently a barrier.

If you'd like to request a sponsored ticket, or know someone who would, simply send us a private message. No explanations or questions asked.

8 pm: Doors open

8 to 10 pm: Costume contest registration at the photo backdrop

9 pm to 1 am: DJ Karyen

10:30 pm: Costume contest and raffle prize winners announced

Costumes are completely optional, so if dressing up isn't your thing, come party with us anyway!

📸 Halloween Photo Backdrop - Strike a pose at our Halloween themed photo backdrop! Take your own photos, or Kris will be happy to snap one for you. Your privacy matters: We only share photos in our private Lez Go Facebook group, never on our public social media pages.

🍿 Complimentary Snack Table - Need a quick bite? Help yourself to our complimentary snack table located beside the photo backdrop!Please note: No food vendors will be open during the event, so be sure to grab a snack while you're there.

🎟️ Free Raffle Prize Draws - You'll receive a raffle ticket when you check in for a chance to win some great prizes throughout the evening! Are you a business owner or professional? We'd love to feature your business! Donate a product, gift card, or service for our raffle, and we'll recognize your support with event advertising.

Our Flying Solo tables are designed for anyone attending on their own and looking to meet new people. Whether you're hoping to make new friends, find dance partners, or simply enjoy great conversation, you'll be surrounded by a warm and welcoming community. Optional name tags will be available to help get the conversations started.

Professional Security On Site - Two licensed female security guards will be on site throughout the evening to help ensure everyone enjoys a safe, welcoming, and worry-free event.

Paid reception staff will help get everyone into the party as quickly as possible

Plenty of seating is available when you need a break

WashroomsPlenty of clean, accessible, gender-neutral washrooms are available throughout the venue.

Queen Street Fare is fully accessible, with automated front doors and accessible washrooms.

Parliament Station on O-Train Line 1 is directly connected to the Queen St. Fare building.

Free evening street parking available nearby (where permitted)

Paid underground parking available at World Exchange Plaza.
