Are some words said about the raw rock trio, Saint Peter’s Thursday.
Their live shows have as much chaos as a black metal band logo, which leaves the audience (you) stunned and sweaty.
Side effects may include:Sore neck, ringing ears, mild cringing, urge to drunk call your ex, catching up with your mum, and catharsis.

Beware the Goatman -
Some bands form in garages. Beware The Goatman formed in the shadow of a monster. The power trio makes guitar-driven music that’s more than the sum of its parts. Frontman and producer Heeringa - who also makes electronic music under the moniker Wulfie - said the project began purely from “missing being in a rock band.”
That hunger for noise and raw connection drives their sound: a mix of turn-of-the-century influences like Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, and Muse, channelled into something distinctly their own. The band has already caught the attention of industry heavyweights, including Sam Trevethick (founding member of Shapeshifter) who describes their sound as “a welcome and addictive surprise.”
Beware The Goatman’s debut album, a 10-track self-produced record due in 2026, is already complete, with lead single Bone Rattler arriving 17 October 2025. Musically, Bone Rattler is an exclamation mark of pounding drums and clawing guitars. Thematically, it’s a question, tracing the fragile line between devotion and delusion.
The band takes its name from the half-man, half-goat figure said to haunt the fringes of Lyttelton. What began as an inside joke has taken on a life of its own. The band are now documenting their ongoing “hunt” for the Goatman, with plans to release a companion documentary alongside their debut album in 2026.

Cherry Red -
Otautahi alt rock lads CHERRY RED blend raw sweaty energy and Liam's melodic vocal power into a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. This five-piece bucket of chook takes inspiration from bands like Royal Blood, Harbour, and Strawberry Lace - guaranteed hooks and vibes. Expect a comment or two from Liam about how hot the stage lights are.
We sound better live, trust.
