Step into a universe of nostalgic melodies and timeless hits by Joe Dassin, the world’s most famous channsonnier, as his son, Julien Dassin, brings his father’s music and legacy to life on stage. Through reimagined performances of Joe’s greatest hits, like “Les Champs-Élysées” and “Et Si Tu N’Existais Pas,” and backed by a full live band, Julien shares the journey of a musical icon who touched millions before his life was tragically cut short.

Joe Dassin was a legendary American-born French crooner, with innumerable hits beloved around the world, and gone too soon. Now, singer Julien Dassin is returning for a long-awaited tour in North America, with a tribute program, dedicated to his late father. As the son of the singer Joe, and the grandson of the filmmaker Jules, Julien is the third generation of the Dassin artistic dynasty.
After initially debuting as a comedic theatrical performer, Julien solidified his musical legacy by collecting, rearranging and performing his father’s musical hits across the world. In 2016, Julien’s new recording of "Champs Elysées" was included in Sony Music’s Tribute to Joe Dassin. Performing alongside a choir, he toured around France, including five sold-out nights at the famed Olympia in Paris.
Since then, Julien Dassin has brought together an ensemble of some of France’s best musicians, called the "Paris Tour Eiffel Orchestra" (among them Joe Dassin’s original band percussionist and the pianist and accordionist Charles Trenet). Together, they created a romantic and exciting performance, paying tribute to Joe Dassin, Charles Asnavour and other French Chanson greats!

Ce concert dépasse largement le cadre d’un simple hommage : il incarne un véritable acte d’amour et une conversation musicale émouvante entre un fils et son père, séparés trop tôt, et une quête passionnée pour préserver et faire vivre l’héritage d’un artiste disparu trop jeune.
À travers cette performance, Julien Dassin, troisième génération d’une famille d’artistes prestigieux, perpétue l’héritage de son père tout en y ajoutant sa touche personnelle. Fort de son expérience sur les scènes internationales, de l’Olympia à la Salle Pleyel, en passant par des tournées mondiales, il réinterprète le répertoire de Joe Dassin d’une manière moderne et émouvante.
Pour l’occasion, il a réuni une formation d’exception, l’Orchestre Paris Tour Eiffel, composé de certains des meilleurs musiciens français.
