Sailing sessions this summer at the lagoon

The 2026 PLS sailing season is here
We're going to start sailing on 30th May and then we'll sail every Saturday morning through to the 26th September. Times as usual will be from 10am to ~1pm.
To prepare for the coming season we need to set up all the boats and gather in all the equipment that went into storage with the families over the winter. We're suggesting two dates, either 2nd May or 9th May, to meet at the boat park at 10am. We picked two dates in case the weather is awful on 2nd May, it is a bank holiday weekend after all. There's a poll at the end of this message for you to pick your preferred Saturday. If you have equipment but can't make either date please let us know and we'll sort something out to collect to from you.
As last year we need to
1. Refit all the Oppie sails back onto the masts and gaffs
2. Refit the main sheets to the Oppies
3. Sort the coffins on all the trailers
4. Put the Pico masts and booms back onto the trailers
5. Anything else I've missed
6. Check everything
With lots of help we'll have finished everything before lunch time.
Does anyone have a tow bar fitted so we can take two trailers to the lagoon, we'd like to take the Pico trailer as well for the older sailors to improve their skills.
The PLS Facebook page is alive again so please post to it and share amongst all your friends as we're always looking to introduce more children to sailing and the lagoon is an ideal place to start their sailing career.
