This event is to honor the New Moon in Sagittarius. Sag's are the third fire sign of the Zodiac. If Aries brought in the Soul, Leo brought in (will) Power, Sagittarius is taking that Soul and Power and DOING something with it.
Sagittarius rules over the 9th house of study; travel; Your higher understanding of the World. The house of God. Your philosophy of life, mortality, laws, religion, spirituality. Higher education (college), your relationship with mentors/guides, finding people who can teach you, or becoming a teacher.
It's no wonder they are represented by Chiron the Wounded Healer, Teacher and Archer.
During this event, we'll be hand-rolling our very own beeswax candles and dressing them with crystals and anointing them with a seasonal anointing oil. One we will roll for burning (and practice) and the other for decoration (and burning, if you wish).
After, we will perform a guided meditation sound bath with Reiki focusing on awakening our Souls, alighting a sense of adventure, joy and wisdom.
Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable lying on the floor for the meditation portion.
Chairs are available. Event is held at the Delaware House in Bayview.
