About this Event
Join Nevada Humanities and local poet and educator John Arsenault on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm for a Sagebrush to Sandstone workshop celebrating the art and beauty of haiku in the springtime. This workshop will take place indoors at the Historic Huffaker Schoolhouse at Bartley Ranch Park in Reno, and include a brief outdoor walk. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about a brief history of haiku and draft and practice their own haiku inspired by nature.
This workshop is open to participants of all ages and skill levels. Pencil and paper will be provided.
Space is limited; registration in advance is required.
