Let’s Picnic, New England! Join us for a SAG-AFTRA New England Family Picnic — happening at beautiful Larz Anderson Park. We reserved the Shelter (a covered picnic area), so we are good rain or shine!
Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of connection, laughter, and community with your fellow SAG-AFTRA members.🎈Kids, partners, and good vibes all welcome! Take advantage of the park’s playground, community garden, and scenic walking trails, or just kick back and soak in the summer day. We can't wait to see everyone there!
WHAT TO BRING: Pack your lunch and preferred beverages, and please bring any fun outdoor games you'd like to share.
WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE: Complimentary soda and snacks. We'll also have music, games, and more!
DIRECTIONS & PARKING: The best address to use for driving directions is "325 Goddard Ave, Brookline, MA." The closest parking lot to the Shelter is directly opposite this street address. Once parked, walk south from the parking lot, past the restrooms, toward the lake and you will find the Shelter.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the MBTA bus 51 to the Clyde Street @ Whitney Street stop. This stop is a 10-minute walk to the park. The 51 bus travels between the Reservoir MBTA station on the D branch of the Green Line and the Forest Hills MBTA station on the Orange Line.
