Safety Beyond Compliance: Would You Sign It Off? is an immersive, interactive conference for fleet, transport, workshop, compliance and operations professionals responsible for keeping vehicles, drivers and essential services moving safely.
Throughout the day, experts will deliver three realistic fleet-management scenarios. Each will place delegates at the centre of a difficult operational decision, with only the information available at the time.
The audience will examine the evidence and vote using a simple traffic-light system:
Green: Proceed or sign it off.
Amber: Pause and carry out further checks.
Red: Stop the vehicle, driver or operation.
Delegates will be invited to voice their opinions, explain their reasoning and challenge the decisions being made. An expert panel will then consider their views, share professional perspectives, and explore the legal, operational, safety, and human consequences of each choice.
As further evidence is revealed – potentially including defect reports, maintenance records, photographs, videos, emails, driver statements and operational data – the audience will vote again. Will the new information change your decision?
The event will demonstrate how time pressure, incomplete information, weak warning signs, competing priorities and organisational culture can combine to create serious risk. Delegates will learn how to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, strengthen decision-making and create a clear, defensible audit trail.
Road safety begins long before a vehicle enters the public highway. Decisions made in workshops, depots and offices directly affect drivers, employees, other road users and the wider public. Meeting the minimum legal standard is only the starting point: mere compliance is never enough when lives could depend on the decision.

To protect the value and exclusivity offered to our exhibitors, representatives of private-sector manufacturers, suppliers and commercial service providers attending without exhibiting will incur a commercial delegate fee of £500 + VAT.
Should the attending organisation subsequently book an exhibition stand at a future Visie Communications event, the full £500 fee will be credited against its exhibition costs.
