We've hit the ground running with our 'Youth Safety and Security Program' focused on high-impact criminal prevention in Soweto and beyond �
Saturday 16 May: Youth Opportunities South Africa (YOSA) hosted the first visit for their leadership campaign opening. It was truly impressive to see the skillset and experience of Dr. Astonishment Mapurisa in preparing the Soweto Youth �
Last Monday: Impact Internship made their first connection with High Schools to gain a deeper understanding of the specific challenges the youth is facing in Soweto.
This is a critical step in a broader intervention targeting youth criminality, substance abuse, and liveability in underserved communities across Johannesburg and Kigali, Rwanda �
We look forward to launching our mutual, high-impact interventions starting this September! We will be collaborating with different international Universities and welcoming international interns, lectures & volunteers to join our teams in South Africa and Rwanda � �
