About this Event

Have you completed your basic safeguarding training and want to build your confidence in applying safeguarding principles in real-life situations?

The Safeguarding: Putting It Into Practice workshop is designed for professionals who have already completed introductory safeguarding training and are looking to develop their practical knowledge and decision-making skills.

Through realistic scenarios, group discussion, and case studies, participants will explore:

  • Apply step-by-step safeguarding procedures confidently
  • Be aware of key legislation and statutory guidance
  • Make appropriate safeguarding referrals in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland
  • Understand whistleblowing and the role of LADO

This session helps participants bridge the gap between learning safeguarding principles and confidently putting them into action in their day-to-day roles.

Ideal for: Staff, volunteers, practitioners, and anyone who has completed basic safeguarding training and wants to strengthen their practical safeguarding skills
