About this Event
As a Coach, you have a 'Duty of care' to Safeguard Anybody that takes part in Sporting Activities.
This course is suitable for anyone that runs children's activities, or activiites that include vulnerable adults. You will be certificated on conpletion. The certificate is valid for three years.
This Course includes:
- Child Protection
- Anti-bullying
- Defining the abuse of a Child or Adult
- The 5 main types of abuse
- Promoting good practice & good practice guidelines
- Reporting Incidents
- Safeguarding Officer
- Local Authority Designated Officers
- Socail media & messaging groups

Parking for this event can be found at the rear of the building at Whalley Hayes Car Park, Macclesfield, SK10 1BS.
The carpark is free after 3pm, but a ticket must be purchased from 8am until 3pm Monday to Saturday.
