About this Event

The Haywood Cooperative Extension Family & Consumer Sciences Program in collaboration with Haywood Health Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Safe Plates for Food Pantries Training Class.
Participation in this class will give coordinators and volunteers access to research based food safety information that they can immediately put into practice. Participants will develop the tools they need to establish a positive food safety culture for their organization and reduce the risk of a food borne illness outbreak.
The 4 hour class will be offered free of charge at the Haywood Cooperative Extension Office. Participants will receive free resource kits and a complimentary lunch.
The class will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 9am – 1pm. Please register up to 2 participants from your organization.
