UYG Safe Circle

The “Safe Circle” offers a safe, supportive space for women affected by domestic abuse to reconnect with themselves, rebuild their confidence, and pursue their life goals.

We understand that the trauma of abuse can leave deep emotional and mental scars, often leading to feelings of isolation, fear, and uncertainty about the future. Without the right support, these challenges can persist, making it difficult for women to heal and move forward in their lives.

Why We Do It:

For many women, the impact of domestic abuse lingers long after the experience itself, manifesting in low self-esteem, anxiety, and a sense of disconnection from their potential. These feelings can prevent women from forming healthy relationships, pursuing careers, or achieving personal goals.

The safe circle is designed to address these pain points by offering a community of support, empowerment, and guidance. We believe that with the right encouragement, women can overcome barriers and rediscover their strength and purpose.

Key Features:

• Connection: Breaking the cycle of isolation by connecting with women who share similar experiences, creating a supportive and understanding community.
• Empowerment Talks: Inspirational sessions that provide hope and motivation, helping women feel empowered to take back control of their lives.
• Goal Support: Practical guidance and resources to help women set and achieve their personal and professional goals, so they don’t remain stuck in their current situation.
• Mentorship: Access to mentors who provide ongoing support and accountability, guiding women towards consistent growth and development.

Event Schedule:

• Timing: 10am – 12pm
• Attendance: FREE to all women in the community just come along on the day. You can also email or call to let us know you are coming.
• Complimentary refreshments

Without the support of initiatives like the “UYG Safe Circle” many women may continue to struggle with the lasting effects of abuse, feeling trapped in cycles of fear and self-doubt. Our “Safe Circle” offer a pathway to healing, personal growth, and empowerment, helping women move beyond their past and towards a future filled with hope and possibility.
