The 300 hour Yoga Sadhaka Mentoring Program is a way to continue to broaden your skills as well as continue to experience and learn about the many paths of yoga. Whether you are a newly graduated 200 YTT or a practioner looking to go beyond asana practice, this program will help you to feel confident, informed, and experienced in the richness of yoga practices.
>>Learn more about the program at the informational meetings July 12-14 with times to suit most schedules.
NOTE: There is very limited spaces for this training and an interview is required prior to registration.
More about the program:
We’ll go deep into the biomechanics of asana to understand both the physiological impact of joint kinematics as well as the transmission of prana. You’ll be given insight into yoga therapy through Ayurveda, have the opportunity to specialize in adaptive, restorative, or prenatal yoga, and learn the deep philosophies of yoga including Sankhya, Shakti, and Shaivism.
Yoga is the Science of Self-realization with the ultimate goal of Liberation. As you go further into your studies you will discover your teaching interests, strengths, and the dharmic path that yoga holds for you. You’ll become a better teacher and your experience and knowledge will open novel paths for instruction beyond asana—or at least to be more refined and expansive in applying asana to a practice. Or maybe you will find that you prefer to keep your practice for yourself, but now your sadhana has a broader and more complete foundation.
I invite you to explore a deeper path, find direction in your studies and practices, and appreciate the many ways we can rise together in awareness, energy, and devotion to the wisdom of Yoga.
This is a 300 hour program with some variability in how the total hours are completed. Completed reading and writing assignments, commitment to practice, and a finalized journal of experience throughout the program will result in a Certification of Completion.
Instructor: Sandy Parker has a BS in Health Education and over 40 years of experience in movement education. She has advanced certifications in Restorative Exercise, Nutritional Therapy, and as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practitioner. Her pursuit of knowledge has also lead her to study Tantra and in particular Shakti energetics and philosophy. As founder and owner of On The Path Yoga, this mentoring program is a culmination of 15 years of exclusively teaching yoga practices to thousands of students with a mind to broaden how yoga is taught and perceived in the West and to truly honor the gift that has been shared from its origins in South Asia.
