One of Australia’s brightest female vocalists, Shikye-Alyce Smith, performs the music of Sade, from Diamond Life to Lovers Rock, celebrating the tunes of Sade Adu who sold over 75 million albums over the decades.Sade: The Live Experience showcases the musical journey of Sade, starting with her debut in 'Diamond Life' in 1984, featuring hits such as "Smooth Operator" and "Your Love is King," progressing through her 90s successes like "No Ordinary Love," "Kiss of Life," and "Like a Tattoo," plus her latest hits.
This show celebrates her life, her distinctive style and her influence on soul music. It pays homage to Sade’s enduring legacy and her unique ability to blend the contours of jazz, soul and R&B into an unforgettable musical experience.
Shikye-Alyce and band have handpicked an incredible songbook that will have you primed for an unforgettable evening. Come and sing along to the tunes that have shaped the repertoire for many past, present and future generations.
