I’m excited to announce that we are hosting the very 1st annual Shakopee Area Catholic School - SACS Scholarhsip Shoot at MN Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake on 4/23/2026.Location: MN Horse & Hunt (2920 220th St E, Prior Lake, MN 55372)
Event: Recreation sporting clays, 25 stations, 50 clays
What to bring: Eye protection, hearing protection, closed toe shoes, Shotgun, Wagon or ammo bag
Age limit: 18+
Date: Thursday, April 23, 2026
Time: Registration begins at 3:00 PM, Mandatory Safety Meeting at 3:45 PM, Shotgun start at 4:00 PM
Dinner/Social Begins: 6:30 PM
This event is going ot be alot of fun! Please remember that this is a fundraiser to raise money for the SACS Scholarships. SACS Dads awards approximately $10,000/year in tuition scholarships, and it’s because of your participation and the amazing support of our sponsors! Plan on bringing cash to participate in the fun and support the cause.
We will do scoring based on the best 3 person score on the 4 person team for the Top Gun Obrien's Orange Vest award.
If you need to rent a gun, you can do so from MN Horse & Hunt. Golf carts are not available for rent, unfortunately. If you or anyone on your team has not participated in a clay shoot before, and/or would like a run down on how to handle a gun, please let me know. We will set them up with someone before the event starts to get them up to speed. Safety is key!
