ow do people of faith celebrate America’s 250th birthday? By reflecting on our shared values and renewing our commitment to justice, inclusion, freedom, and care for creation.
Our Sacred Voices Summer of Song 2026 will celebrate these themes through music from America’s rich traditions — including Indigenous melodies, early American hymn tunes, Kentucky Harmony, Civil Rights songs, and works inspired by William Penn. This year’s choir will be joined by flutes, a brass ensemble, and percussion.
Sacred Voices is an ecumenical, unauditioned community choir created by director Susan Frickert over twenty years ago to provide a summer musical/spiritual enrichment experience for area singers. It draws participants from all over the Lehigh Valley. We hope you will join us for this year's concert!
