Join us for this transformational embodiment practice with a focus on meeting ourselves, seeing each other in a deeper way, building relational honesty, and resting into the love underneath it all.
Sacred Theatre is an exploration of what it means to be human—an invitation to come home to ourselves and each other through embodied presence, self-revealing, and emergent ceremony.
This isn’t really about performance, there is no script to follow. We enter into a living process where the theatre is life itself, unfolding in real time.
Through a weaving of explorative ceremonial practices, mythic listening, and simply ‘being with what is’ we create a shared field—a culture of honesty, reverence, and connection.
Sometimes quiet, sometimes deeply expressive, each week we journey through and integrate different aspects of our humanity.
This is not about arriving anywhere. Like other open-ended practices Sacred Theatre invites you into a space of ongoing exploration, listening and becoming.
This is both a deeply personal practice and naturally a collective experience.
Participants often find this work transformational and grounding—a space to connect to deeper layers of themselves and be met by others in ways that are uncommon and radically real.

About Your Facilitator...
Matthew Liam Gardner is the Founder of School of Living Myth. He is a devoted 2nd-Generation Master Teacher based in Manchester, UK.
Born and raised on the East Coast of Australia, Matthew is wildly passionate about Embodied Leadership, Grassroots Cultural Renewal and the extraordinary Nature of Emergent Consciousness.
Matthew facilitates these weekly Sacred Theatre Sessions in Manchester, leads 4 Online Circles each month, and delivers a number of In-person Immersions each year.
Matthew has been lovingly nurturing the emergence of this form of Sacred theatre in Mystery School settings over the last 6 years and has been profoundly grown and changed by its impact.
Born and raised on the East Coast of Australia Matthew has called the UK home since 2020. He is the Founder of School of Living Myth and is considered a dedicated emerging leader who walks the talk.

What to bring...
Comfortable clothing, water bottle, a shawl or light blanket, anything you’d like to add to our open altar, any items you feel compelled to bring even if you don’t know why.

Extra Notes...
- This is not 'theatre' in its performative sense, but rather an explorative sense. Often times what may begin as a gentle embodied exploration becomes a very real and meaningful experience.
- You can come to one, some or many weekly sessions. Meeting this as an ongoing exploration will definitely support you to deepen in your practice.
- You’ll likely be enriched and grown through these explorations.
- This is a drug and alcohol free event and because of the often deep nature of this work it's important attendees are in a grounded state of mind. These sessions are not therapeutic in nature nor are they a replacement for therapy.
- All going well our session will finish after 2.5 hours and we’ll have 30 minutes of intentional spaciousness at the end of the session for integration and rich connection.
