About this Event
There is something your body has been carrying since winter.
You probably know what it is. Maybe you've been managing it, organizing around it, or simply too busy to feel it. That's okay. The body is patient.
This ceremony is an invitation to put it down.
The Release is the first in a summer series of Sacred Sound Ceremonies held at the Village — the land beneath Smith Rock that the Northern Paiute people called Animal Village. On volcanic ground, under open Oregon sky, we gather in a circle of up to 20 people for 75 minutes of intentional sound.
Crystal singing bowls. Tuning forks. Gong. Intuitive vocals.
You don't need experience with sound healing. You don't need to be spiritual. You don't need to know what you're releasing. The body knows. The sound finds it. You just need to arrive.
— WHAT TO EXPECT —
You'll arrive to a prepared space on the land. We open with a brief grounding and land acknowledgment, honoring the Northern Paiute people on whose ancestral land we gather. Then 60 minutes of pure ceremony — you lie down or sit, whatever your body asks. The sound does the work. We close with 10 minutes of integration and, for those who wish, a brief biofield tuning to complete the experience.
Some people feel deeply relaxed. Some feel emotions move through. Some feel the energy of the land itself. Some simply rest — and discover that rest is the whole point.
