A guided tea meditation and sound journey designed to help your body release tension, process emotion, and come out of the constant state of
About this Event

If you are someone who feels everything

Who tracks other people’s emotions without trying

Who shuts down and disconnects just to get through the day

Who stays aware, responsive, & can’t fully relax even when you’re exhausted

Your body is likely holding layers of tension and emotion that haven’t had space to move because your system has learned to prioritize getting through the moment, not process what it’s holding.

This experience is designed to work directly with that by guiding your body through a somatic process of regulation, awareness, and release.

The Experience

We begin with a guided tea meditation using a blend of Rose, Hibiscus, Chamomile, Orange Peel, Lemon Balm, and Lavender.

(In case of allergies, your tea blend can be modified)

As you sip slowly and bring your awareness inward, your body begins to shift in stages:

🌼First... your system settles (Chamomile + Lavender)

And your nervous system begins coming out of constant alertness.

🌿Then… space begins to open (Lemon Balm + Orange Peel)

As your body settles, emotional pressure begins to ease.

🌹Then… awareness moves inward (Rose)

Your attention naturally shifts to your heart space and emotional processing begins to take place.

🌺Then… emotion begins to move (Hibiscus)

Once your body feels safe enough, things can start to shift. You body will begin transitioning from holding to releasing.

From there, you’ll be guided into a sound journey using crystal bowls, grounding instruments, and gently layered in vocals.

The sound supports everything your body has already started:

  • deepening the release of tension
  • stabilizing your nervous system
  • and helping emotional shifts integrate without overwhelm

What You May Notice:

Because each herb supports a different layer, the effects show up in very real ways:

  • your mind feels quieter instead of constantly running
  • your body feels less tense and easier to be in
  • you’re less reactive to other people’s emotions
  • you feel more present instead of checked out or disconnected
  • emotional buildup doesn’t feel as overwhelming or stuck
  • you have more clarity around what you need

Some people also notice:

  • they sleep more deeply
  • they feel lighter the next day
  • or they move through stress without it lingering as long

Closing Integration

This isn’t about creating a temporary moment of calm.

It’s about giving your body a lived experience of:

  • releasing tension
  • processing emotion
  • and existing without carrying everything at once

So that when you return to your life…you’re not responding from the same level of overwhelm you walked in with.

About your Facilitator: Selenia Rodriguez

Selenia Rodriguez is a Holy Fire® III Karuna® Reiki Master and Certified Sound Healer who works with highly sensitive, intuitive individuals who are burnt out from constantly prioritizing others’ needs over their own. Her work is rooted in her own experience with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and years of over-giving and self-abandonment. Through Reiki, sound healing, and somatic vocal work, she learned how to manage her anxiety, set boundaries without guilt, and stay present without absorbing others’ emotions. Today, she supports clients in regulating their bodies, reconnecting with their voice, and building a more grounded, sustainable relationship with themselves.
