Take a gentle break with other women who get what it’s like to lose someone to suicide and find some healing together.
About this Event

Sacred Pause is a restorative retreat experience created especially for women who have lost someone they love to suicide.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Amicalola Falls and the North Georgia mountains, this intimate gathering offers a gentle place to step away from everyday responsibilities, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and spend time with women who understand the complexity of suicide loss.

This is not a day about “moving on” or leaving your grief behind. It is an opportunity to honor your loss while creating space for healing, connection, reflection, and moments of peace.

During our day together, you’ll experience:

• A compassionate Healing Circle with no pressure to share your entire story
• Gentle Qigong and nervous-system regulation practices
• A professionally guided, 1.5 mile nature experience to Amicalola Falls
• Time for reflection, conversation, connection, and rest
• Lunch together at Cascades Restaurant inside lodge.
• Practical healing tools you can continue using at home

Your Sacred Pause experience also extends beyond the retreat day.

We’ll gather virtually before the retreat so you can begin connecting with the other women attending and learn gentle tools to help you feel emotionally supported and prepared. After the retreat, we’ll come together again for a post-retreat gathering focused on integration, continued connection, and carrying what you experienced into everyday life. See optional Virtual Gathering Dates/Times on graphic below

You do not need to arrive feeling strong.

You do not need to have the right words.

You do not need to explain your grief.

You are welcome exactly as you are.
