Through Circle Work, we intentionally create a sacred container for reflection, vulnerability, and self-discovery. It is within this space that we engage in Nutritional Listening—a profound practice of reprogramming how you listen to yourself, your body, and the world around you. This journey invites you to align with your authentic self and deepen your connection to your spiritual purpose.

Reprogram Your Relationship with Listening

Nutritional Listening is a transformative practice that addresses imbalances created by misaligned listening—of the body, mind, and emotions.

Using the technique called “The Four Chairs,” we honor all aspects of your inner child, youth, adult, and elder to create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and connection.

The first step in Nutritional Listening is to reprogram the way you listen—to yourself, your body, and the world around you. For too long, societal norms, family beliefs, and peer influences have dictated how we should hear and respond. This practice invites you to unlearn those conditioned patterns and rediscover the authentic language of your inner being.

Listening is more than hearing words; it is an energetic exchange that influences how we process life, emotions, and experiences. When misaligned, this can lead to improper “digestion” of experiences, affecting emotional intelligence, impulse control, and overall well-being.

Nutritional Listening teaches that listening itself is nourishment, a form of divine communication. By tuning into the energy of nature, food, music, water, relationships, light, and emotions, you’ll uncover a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.

Our Special Guest: Horse

We are honored to welcome Horse to Ojai. Horse, a teacher and way-shower, carries a remarkable story of resilience and transformation. Struck by lightning twice, once blind and paralyzed, he healed himself through energy alone. Without a résumé or bio, Horse humbly shares his teachings with those willing to listen. Having been given 27 sacred names by gurus, shamans, and First Nation people, he simply calls himself Horse. His profound insights into sacred listening and healing energy will guide us in this unique weekend circle.

This is a sober retreat for individuals 18 and older.
