Amethyst’s style of Sacred Dance includes any combination of many sacred elements, such as Bellydance, Gods & Goddesses, Pagan ritualistic dance, Pagan chanting, symbolic spiritual poses and movement, dances of the Elements and Nature, creative visualization, meditative dance, gemstones, crystals, invocation, offerings, energy use and sharing, breathwork, intuitive dance, magick, sacred instruments and much more.
Each month’s workshop is different, and could include any combination of the above.

Amethyst Cottrill began bellydancing in 1997, and began practicing and teaching other Sacred and Pagan Arts, years prior; so, it came instantly and naturally, to combine her ritual practices with the dance. She is the creator of the ElectroBelly style of bellydance, and owner of ElectroBelly Dance Troupe. She offers Bellydance, ElectroBelly & Sacred/Pagan/Goddess Dance Certification Programs, as well as classes for casual students. Amethyst is Certified by Ansuya Rathor (original member of Bellydance Superstars), having earned her Certification in Florida and California. She has studied many styles, under many instructors, with another favorite being Hannah Romanowsky (Hanna Romanza), a Dance Ethnologist based in CA.

What to Wear:
Dress in comfortable work out clothing (with a low pantline which sets low on the hips and allows the belly to move).
Dancers are encouraged to dress for the theme - Goddesses, nature, ritual, Pagan spirituality, moons, gemstones, the Elements, etc.

We are located on the 2nd floor, which is easily accessed from the side entrance of the building, which has a handful of steps. There is also an elevator, which you can access from the first floor.
PARKING
The Davis Professional Building has ample parking.

The Bower Hill bus line has a stop directly in front of our building.
