A solo exhibition of a new body of work co-created with the Sonoran Desert ~ an offering of reverence to the place that raised me. This collection includes twelve mixed-media landscape paintings that weave together personal memory, ecological study, and place-based materiality.

From the majestic presence of the Saguaros to the pinks and ochres of cochineal and soil pigments, these works are offerings "artful prayers" crafted in reverence to the desert’s more-than-human life forms. By blending synthetic paints with hand-gathered pigments and dyed fibers, I seek to tell visual stories that reflect the complexity of living in modern day and give offerings of beauty to feed the spirit of the Sonoran Desert.
