Sunset Whitney Recreation Area is a beautiful spot to play! The wide open spaces of this former golf course gives us the opportunity to stretch the legs a bit. Be ready for a nice wide course and plenty of pure cross features as you navigate the rolling terrain. It’s all on the table here, with paved paths, dirt singletrack, vertical challenges and traditional grass speed.

The Sacramento Cyclocross race series features eight weekend races from October to December, rotating among different venues throughout the Sacramento region. Cyclocross offers a full-body challenge with racing on grass, pavement, mud, steep hills, and other terrain that make you get off your bike, carry it over the obstacle, and jump back on.
