About this Event

Interested in a career in law enforcement? Join our Police Recruiting Unit for an informative session designed for prospective Police Recruit and Dispatcher Recruit applicants.

During this presentation, you'll learn about career opportunities within our department, including salary and benefits, the hiring process, academy and training expectations, minimum qualifications, and what it takes to become a successful member of our team. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with a recruiter.

Representatives from our Backgrounds Unit will be available to answer questions and provide insight into the backgrounds process.

You will also have the opportunity to meet members of Sac PD's specialty units and learn about our unique assignments and careers paths.

Event Guidelines:

• Dress Code: Business attire
• You are welcome to bring a pen and notepad for taking notes.
• Cell phones are not permitted during the presentation
• Please do not bring additional guests as this event has limited seats and is for prospective candidates only.
