Sabor Latino: A Celebration of Heritage
About this Event
Since 1977, AYUDA Miami has been dedicated to strengthening our community by providing support and services to children, adolescents, adults, families, and seniors throughout Miami-Dade County. As we celebrate our 49th Anniversary during National Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite community leaders, businesses, and organizations to join us in honoring Hispanic culture while supporting vulnerable seniors through our "Here for You" Program.
AYUDA Miami is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to creating meaningful and transparent community impact. THE "HERE FOR YOU" PROGRAM: "Here for You" supports low-income senior residents of Stella Maris House who require ongoing assistance to meet their basic needs and maintain a dignified quality of life.
Funds raised through Sabor Latino will help provide:
Your sponsorship will help support more than 30 senior residents by reducing isolation and loneliness, preventing early institutionalization, and promoting physical and mental well-being, independence, and safe aging at home.
(Nutritious weekly meals, Physical wellness and exercise programs, Art, recreational, and social engagement activities, Emotional support initiatives, Cleaning and maintenance services, A safe and dignified living environment & Connections to healthcare and entitlements.)
