Kolkata Explorers (a division of Green Step Tourism) will cross the Hooghly to visit the houses of - Mohiary Kundu Chaudhury, Srimanys and Andul Rajbati. The traditional Durga Pujo (Basanti Pujo) was originally performed in the season of spring till Lord Rama performed the 'akal bodhon' in autumn. The autumnal festival gained prominence over the Basanti Pujo. But Bengal still has some 'bonedi' houses carrying on the tradition of performing Durga Pujas in basonto (spring).
TOUR ITENARY:
Our AC Car will start from Kavi Subhas Metro station gate at 8 am and will take the EM Bypass to Maa Flyover for proceeding to Vidyasagar setu. Guests can avail pick up on the road from Kavi Subhas to the starting of Maa Flyover. While returning , the same route will be followed.
Please note that walking will be involved at places, because the car may not reach very near to some places.
