Sabbat Storytime – Yule / Winter Solstice Children's CircleSunday, December 21st from 12:30pm to 2:00pm
Sliding Scale: $10–$25
Come celebrate the shortest day and longest night with us as we listen to Winter folktales and celebrations from Germany, Iceland, England and Wales. Join us as we learn about the spirits and creatures our ancestors spoke of by the fire on cold winter nights to chase away the darkness and welcome the returning light.
We will paint and decorate wooden snowflake ornaments, make holiday paper chains with blessings woven into them, create mini yule logs, and make evergreen protection charms for our front doors. Through song and story we welcome the season of Winter! Come celebrate with us!
This is a family-friendly event open to all ages but geared toward children ages 2–10 yrs old.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
Limit 12 children (Must be accompanied by an adult. For older kids, adults are free to browse during the activities.) Because space is limited, pre-registration is recommended.
