For over 10 years, they have whirled in a wiggliness both woebegone and wonderstruck on a mission of radical mutant exaltation, using rock music weaponry loaded with a queer, hysterical ammunition to rupture the fabric of the known Rock universe and unleash a tendril-soft hallucinatory violence; thrumming with the bracing vividness of insect bodies, crazed with alien synaesthetic emotions, harnessing jagged, excoriating illogic as a face-meltingly snazzy affront to redundant macho mediocrity, with the hope to break minds, squeeze hearts, explode pelvises, and maybe even reset the parameters of reality.

Sofi Naufal is a British-Lebanese musician and writer originally from London. Using voice, guitar and urban field recordings, her music plays with structure, time, and melody within the folk tradition to create an emotionally charged and curious sonic space. Her performances are intense, hypnotic and sometimes funny as she deals unflinchingly with the harsh realities of contemporary life.

W. Ravenveer (Erwin Van Looveren) is an Antwerp-based artist working with improvised electronic music, electro-acoustic sound, and occasional guitar noise. Alongside sound, his practice extends into improvised drawing and voltage-controlled plotter works. He began performing in the early 2000s as a guitar noise artist under the name Schizoide and with the avant junk-noise group Dirk Freenoise. Over time, his focus shifted toward electronic improvisation using affordable and repurposed devices. Since 2009, modular synthesis has become a central element in his work, functioning as a space for ongoing experimentation. Releases have appeared on Ultra Eczema, Lal Lal Lal, Sound Holes, Swallowing Helmets, Radical Documents, No Sides, as well as numerous self-released micro-editions.

Mankiyan’s mixes are full of depth, spatiality and intuition, spanning across heady dub, hip hop, rave and grime. She toys with complex rhythm sequences and easily switches genres, with healthy splashes of bright twists – but always with an impeccable sense of pace and flow. Mankiyan is injecting community-driven, unpretentious and unadulterated love for rave culture back into nightlife.
