Rört Dance Ensemble - A Collective of Moving Stories:
We are calling in dancers, movers, storytellers, and body poets to join the Rört Dance Ensemble, a new performance company rooted in the shared power of movement and expression.
This is an invitation to those who long to create and explore material and choreography.
Together we will weave dance, theater, and raw physical expression into a performance. Through group improvisation, partnering, choreography and deep listening, we will craft performances that emerge from the body’s intelligence and the stories that live within us.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This is for those who want to train, play, and perform in a space where presence and connection matter as much as form. It’s for movers who are curious, open, and ready to dive into an ongoing creative process where there will be a product of a showing/performance at around 20 min. at the end of the course.
COMMITTING TO PRACTICE
Being part of the Rört Dance Ensemble is not only about creation but also about commitment, to yourself, to the group and to the process -Which is why showing up every time is an essential part of the journey.
Please ONLY sign-up for the ensemble if you KNOW beforehand that you can be there for all practices (if you get sick or something unexpected prevents you from joining a session of course that's okay).

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
The Rört Dance Ensemble is guided by Ida Frost and Malou Dee, both teachers in Rört, and shares a huge love for dance, theatre, performance and community.
Ida Frost is a diverse dancer and physical performer. With a background in gymnastic, she is now working as a professional dancer, performer and acrobat. Her movement interests flow from urban house grooves, to contemporary softness into installation art and acrobatics. No rules, no boxes, just expression, curiosity, humor and the trust of a diverse movement journey in all aspects of life.
Malou Dee has a background with dance theater, contemporary, urban dance styles, various teacher-trainings and is currently guiding dance full time, choreographing for performances and working on multiple projects related to movement.
