La projection de court-métrages d’animation du cinéaste, illustrateur et auteur de bande dessinée français, Jonathan Djob Nkondo, sera suivie d’une conférence en présence de l’artiste.

Après avoir étudié l’animation aux Gobelins à Paris et obtenu son diplôme en 2011, Jonathan Djob Nkondo s’est fait connaître pour ses créations ludiques, aux thématiques et médiums variés. Généralement composées d’une gamme restreinte de couleurs, ces œuvres à la fois oniriques, poétiques et introspectives, repoussent les limites de l’art du conte et du mouvement.

Following a screening of his short animation films, French filmmaker, illustrator, and comic book author, Jonathan Djob Nkondo, will hold a compelling discussion.

After studying animation from Gobelins in Paris and graduating in 2011, Jonathan Djob Nkondo has made a name for himself with his playful creations in a variety of themes and mediums. Generally composed of a set range of colours, they’re simultaneously dreamlike, poetic, and introspective, while also challenging the boundaries of storytelling and movement.
