Ryton Masonic Hall | Horsley, EN
In the 1920s, 26 Bethan met up to discuss plans to form a Masonic Lodge for Ryton. They would hold regular meetings at Ryton Parish Hall, before acquiring Oakfield House, which would later be converted into a temple for lodge meetings.
Paranormal activity is frequently reported. A tall shadow figure is the most common apparition, reportedly seen in an upstairs corridor. Visitors often see movement in darkness and sensations of having someone stood behind them.
The temple room is said to have male spirits inside it, often heard whispering.
Other activity includes sudden temperature drops, feeling as if someone has pushed past, as well as o nexts moving in the old dining room.
This is your chance to investigate this infamously haunted building with Spiritus.
