Fancy a proper seaside adventure day? We’re doing a stunning coast-to-coast style walk from medieval Rye to vibrant Hastings. Expect big cliff views, sea air, beaches, and a brilliant finish in Hastings with “Pirate Party” summer vibes.

Meeting time: 9:00 AM at King’s Cross Station (IFO / Bird Cage, Battle Bridge Place)
Start: Rye (Sussex)
Finish: Hastings Station
- Distance: 19 km (11.8 miles)
- Walking time: around 6 hours
- Total day: at least 8 hours (trains + stops + food)
- Difficulty: 7/10
- Estimated return to London: around 8:00 PM

What to bring
Comfortable footwear (hiking boots if you have them), waterproof jacket, at least 1 litre of water (2 litres recommended), plus snacks and lunch for a break.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome, but must stay on a lead at all times.
