The inaugural Ryan Dintleman Classic BBQ Competition is coming up August 1 at IBEW Local 1 in St. Louis, and registration is closing soon! If you’ve been thinking about cooking this one, now’s the time to get signed up.
This SLBS Pro Series event honors Ryan Dintleman while bringing together great BBQ, live music, food, drinks, and a full day of competition. Teams will begin arriving Friday, July 31, with turn-ins and awards on Saturday, August 1.
We’re currently at 14 teams and would love to see even more pitmasters join the field. Whether you’re chasing points, looking for another great cook, or just want to support a fantastic cause, this is one you won’t want to miss.

🎟️ Spectator admission is just $10 for adults and $5 for children (ages 5–10), making it a great day for the whole family. Proceeds benefit several charitable organizations supported by IBEW Local 1.
