ABOUT CAMERON FORBES: Cameron Forbes (he/him, 250-CYT) is a Los Angeles based yoga teacher with a passion for the intersection between music & mindfulness, and how yoga enhances artistic expression.
Born just outside of Chicago, Cameron received his BBA in marketing at the University of Michigan. He worked previously as a brand manager at General Mills before following his bliss to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue a career as an actor and recording artist, garnering notable success as a multi-platinum songwriter. It was in LA that Cameron took his first yoga class — a discovery that would shape his path in profound ways.
Noticing the many positive effects it had on his physical health & nervous system he quickly began to incorporate yoga practice and philosophy into his life. More than a decade of practice later, Cameron received his 200HR yoga certification from Modo Yoga International in Toronto. Additionally, he holds a 50HR yoga nidra certification, studying under Jeremy Wolf in Cusco, Peru.
