Originally from the Czech Republic, Jolana has made Rochester her second home. She is a Rochester City School District & St. John Fisher University graduate. She is the owner and lead photographer of The Photography Experience, which celebrated 10 years in business last year. Her work has been published both nationally and internationally in numerous magazines, exhibitions, and through awards she has received. Jolana’s mission is to provide experiences through high-end photography that elicit a sense of belonging, empowerment, and connection to ourselves, others, and nature. Jolana is also the Co-founder and Vice President of the Breast Cancer Confidence Project, a non-profit whose mission is healing the body image and self-esteem of breast cancer survivors through transformative portrait experiences. Her main goal in life is to eat, hike, and photograph her way around the world while fulfilling what she believes is our main purpose in life: creating human connection while spreading positivity.
